I feel like most animals really like me due to my patient and calm energy and I give them time to warm up instead of forcing affection straight away. I tend to allow the relationship with the pet to gradually develop on their terms instead of overwhelming them. I also pay close attention to animal body language and cues to understand how they feel and make sure they are content in every interaction. I also genuinely just enjoy spending time with animals whether thats in high active play outside or just quiet companionship with more shy animals.
